A lease termination letterallows a landlord or tenant to cancel a month-to-month lease in accordance with state law. A termination letter can be sent at any time during the course of a tenancy-at-will and commonly gives thirty (30) days’ notice to vacate the premises.
Submit by: (two options) :
Certified mail (USPS) – a recommended option and gives a receipt to the sender after a successful delivery.
Service Certificate – for hand delivery or other state approved option. It is best for the recipient to sign to prove that they have received the termination letter.
